Welcome!

Brothers...Sorors and of course all visitors to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. better known as Lambda Mu. Our chapter had always been on the forefront of community service to the greater community on and off campus...From Legit food/clothing drives (not a box laid out in a hallway)Scholarship pageants (the Original) and youth mentoring programs...While Sigma has always had a presence on the yard for a short time our presence had not been as profound as it traditionally has been...Once again we have been renewed and brothers are ready to take on the challenge of being scholars first and servants of the greater community...That is the Lambda Mu Way!!!

 Our founders deeply wished to create an organization that viewed itself as "a part of" the general community rather than "apart from" the general community. They believed that each potential member should be judged by his own merits rather than his family background or affluence...without regard of race, nationality, skin tone or texture of hair. They desired their fraternity to exist as part of an even greater brotherhood which would be devoted to the "inclusive we" rather than the "exclusive we". The Lambda Mu chapter has wholeheartedly embraced and represented this concept among the brothers whom have crossed the Burning Sands of Sigmaland...

CONGRATS TO THE NEO'S!!!!!!!!Congrats on SPR 06 on your official passing to the Prophyte stage...SPR08 must now do the dirty work!!! LOL! Some updated activities should be coming soon!
